Originally from Olympia, Washington, Dave studied Theatre and English Literature at Whittier College and trained in improv, sketch comedy and acting in both New York and Los Angeles.
As a playwright, Dave's full length comedy Waiting for Waiting For Godot recently had it's London premier at the St. James' Theatre along with several successful regional productions around the US. His other published plays include The Exit Interview, Cafe d'Automatique, and Thank You For Letting Me Have Sex With You. Dave is also a former writer and producer for Chelsea Lately on the E! Network, Inside Sports (Versus), Beer :30 (Versus) and Gene Pool (Fox).
As an actor, Dave has been featured in the hit comedy Trainwreck, starring Amy Schumer, directed by Judd Apatow, for Universal Studios. Dave is a member of the Collective New York, The Stillwater Writing Group, The Dramatists Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA & AEA. He also writes and performs regularly with the New York sketch group The Shorts Show and is a graduate of the UCB Theatre in New York..
